Helke Bayrle has filmed the installations of exhibitions at Portikus from 1992 to 2022. The website www.portikusunderconstruction.de makes Helke Bayrle’s entire archive available to the public.
Helke Bayrle’s films go beyond the documentary. Her films are subjective, intimate observations of the creative process of individual installations.
