Anlässlich der Ausstellung laden wir Sie herzlich zu einem begleitenden Filmprogramm ein, das zentrale Themen im Werk von Saodat Ismailova aufgreift. Das Programm widmet sich den Verflechtungen von ökologischem und kulturellem Verlust und untersucht, wie imperiale Hinterlassenschaften und extraktivistische Eingriffe gesellschaftliche Realitäten prägen.

Geographies of Absence – Between Disappearance and Re-Imagination (Veranstaltung auf Englisch)
The screening presents films that reflect on the historical and ongoing consequences of Russian Imperialism. The program includes works by Artcom Platform, Furqat Palvan-Zade, Nikolay Karabinovych and Natalia Papaeva. Their films explore how loss is articulated through language, how the disappearance of parts reshapes the whole, and how collective memory is formed through both material and immaterial traces.
